Author’s Biography

John Chapman “Chap” Petersen served sixteen years in the Virginia Senate (2008-2023) during which time he passed numerous landmark bills, including bills to reopen public schools during COVID19 and end the mask mandate on children. He lives in his hometown of Fairfax City with his wife, Sharon Kim Petersen. They have four children. Petersen is a practicing attorney with thirty years’ experience in state and Federal courts. He also teaches Constitutional law as an adjunct professor at the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University. “REBEL by Chap Petersen” is his first book.
